BEDSIDE MANNERS, a comedy by Derek Benfield. Directed by Betty Detamore. When Ferris (Mike Ward - at right) reluctantly agreed to look after his sister's seedy hotel in the country while she was on vacation, he did not foresee the wild comings and goings that were to burst upon him in a single sunny spring evening. Roger (Bill Ratliff - below right) and Sally (Elaine Gantz - below right) arrive for a secret rendezvous, Roger having left his wife Helen (Coni Causey - below left) at home to care for the goldfish and Sally having left her husband Geoff (Howard Weisberg - under her) to dig the garden. But Helen and Geoff also planned a naughty weekend together...in the same hotel! Ferris soon becomes engulfed in a dizzy round of lies, confusions and bewilderments as he tries to gain financially while preventing the inevitable meeting of husbands, wives and lovers in assorted compromising situation. You will exhaust yourself with laughter.
